Organized Grower Group Certification is a unique certification process in which a group of farmers between 25 & 500 can come together, form/register a legal entity & then avail certification services. FPOs, farmer co-operatives, small scale processing units having contracts with farmers, Companies undertaking contract farming, etc. can apply for certification. An Internal Control System (ICS) should be developed in which the internal inspector & field officer will monitor the farming activities carried out by the farmer within the group.
